Gail Jonas is a former school teacher and Attorney at Law in solo private practice since 1977; mediator since 1982 She has been a leader in environmental causes longer than she has been an attorney. She is recognized as an energetic researcher, organizer and leader.

In her spare time she teaches kayak rolling and is a class two white water kayaker. She has kayaked the wilderness run on the Roag River, the John Day River and canoed the San Juan. She also enjoys the mountains and has backpacked in the sierra Mountain Range. Her largest endeavor was a three-week trip covering 120 miles

 

Philip Harlan is a partially sighted retired auto mechanic and adventurer. He is also a white water kayaker and backpacker. He has bicycled coast to coast across the United States twice and spent seven months in Alaska, fishing touring and hiking. Philip also cleaned up oil from the Valdez spill, as a volunteer.

Philip is the author of this web site as he has learned to use the computer without being able to read the screen.
